TOUR FULL - SOLD OUT

The NSA will run a Farm Tour on Monday 29 July 2024, the day before the NSA Sheep 24 Event being held at the Three Counties Show Ground Malvern.

The Farm Tour will depart from the Three Counties Show Ground and visit 2 different farming operations in Leominster. The first is a mixed farm with a flock of Romney cross ewes and a pedigree Hereford cattle herd working on regenerative principles to improve the farm ecosystem. Inputs are carefully managed although it is not an organic business.  It is also part of two levels of the Stewardship schemes. www.cawleyfarms.co.uk 

The second farm is mixed dairy, sheep and arable operation that has switched to outdoor lambing as part of an easycare system with data recording providing an essential tool for improving flock performance. The owners are part of a breeding group and keen to share knowledge with other farmers.  Both farms manage the financial performance of the farm with KPI measurements to improve profitability.
