The Shetland Islands are an archipelago over 100 miles north of the tip of Scotland with a history which can be traced back to 2000 years BC.
Our tour includes technical visits to a range of beef, dairy and sheep farms, livestock mart, Lerwick Fish Market, the Shetland wool industry and Shetland ponies.
In addition, we shall trace the history of farming through crofting and take in the sea bird population at the RSPB Reserve at Sumburgh Head.
We will be speaking with all providers and farming hosts about how we can run the tour safely due to the current Covid 19 pandemic and therefore appreciate your patience at this time. Visits are still being discussed so the dates for this tour and a more detailed itinerary will be confirmed in due courseBack To List
